Sir Rohini Roy Patowari... His humble ordinary figure could never express what a great figure he actually was. His simple way of teaching never made his students feel afraid of literature. From writings of Rabindranath Tagore to Saiyad Mujtaba Siraj, his expertise of teaching made its own symbol everywhere. There was a huge difference between what this down-to-earth person appeared to be and what he actually was.. His death is not only a loss for the school, but for all of us. Siliguri Boys' High School Alumni Association expresses its sympathy towards his family,followers and friends. Our heartily homage to his soul. Now,he has endless hours to sit and go through his favourite novels that he couldn't read for years. But his beloved students will always miss him, whenever they will open some bengali book, sir's voice would softly recite, "Dur Hote Dekho Chahi, Paribe Na Chinite Aamay.. Hey Bondhu, Biday"

It was another hot summer day, when some old school friends were confused how to keep the name of the school beside their names once they leave the school. The school which gave everything to them, taught them how to survive, provided them friends, guidance and education. They were indeed in deep confusion. And their confusion ultimately resulted in the formation of Siliguri Boys' High School Alumni Association. Now, it's not only a stage to keep contacts with friends, but a platform where from the ex-students (who sometimes call themselves Boyzians) wishes to contribute in their own way, towards the development of their beloved school.
